How much does the Flood Map Change Service cost?

Using First American’s Flood Map Change Service puts a wealth of resources to work for you, from our industry contacts to the expertise of our flood professionals. We have over 20 years of experience working with FEMA, which means we know the ins and outs of the entire process and have the knowledge to anticipate and easily respond to unforeseen issues and roadblocks.

Once you submit your request, we take care of every detail, from start to finish. Most importantly, with a Letter of Map Change issued for your property, you can save thousands over the life of your loan.

The cost for Flood Map Change Service is as follows:

Residential: $500 per structure
Commercial: $1000 per structure

And remember, you pay us nothing unless FEMA issues an LOMC for your property.

If fill dirt has been placed on your property, FEMA charges $425 for an engineering review. This charge is paid directly to the National Flood Insurance Program and is separate from our service fees.
